Been playing the Clannad game lately. (Ya, took my a while to find a good translation for it. I may be able to speak simple Japanese, but I still can't read it.)

It's damn amazing, some parts are perfectly in the anime, and lots of little things about the characters that never made it to the big screen.

For those who don't know, You have to play this game multiple times. Each time "capturing" a different ending. Some, you have to make a certain girl fall in love, others you have to make someone realize life is worth living. OR... something like that. Essentially you have to fill a gap in the person's heart and create a small miracle.

You need to make 8 miracles before you can aim for the BIG ending.

Well the big ending includes your wife dying during child birth, and five years later your own child dying as well. Even you die from heart break. You and your daughter's "Souls" get trapped in a new world where you are alone, unable to remember your old life. But if you have the energy from the previous miracles, you are able to come back, bring your wife, your daughter, and yourself back, all healthy and happy for the big happy ending.

Anyways, the reason I am telling you all this is because there are also false endings. Endings, while they seem good and happy, weren't miracles.

One such ending is for my favourite girl in the game. I won't tell you who, but ya end up dating her, and the game ends when you and her are both madly in love. But it's sadly actually a "bad" ending for a few reason. But it still makes me mad. I really enjoyed her story arch, and laughed a lot. for it to actually be bad.... *sigh*


But the game is amazing, try it out.
